They want to disarm everyone before election day so that there will be no “Battles of Athens” over vore fraud.
What a vacuum-brained race-baiter. The zombie Trayvon was vanquished with a Kel-Tec PF9, a double-action semi-automatic handgun chambered in 9mm Parabellum. It was NOT a so-called "assault weapon."
So let me guess! All of the guns that were used in Chicago killings were legally owned by the gangbanging murders. Therefore it follows that once they are made illegal they will turn them in because they are afraid for being arrested because of being in violation of the law? Slaps forehead!!! Unlike killing people, which is not against the law already? Sounds like Diane Feinstein logic to me!!!
Not so humble gunner!
Gunner
Think you are right. Time to stock up on ammo after depleting my stores with target practice.
How do you get all that garbage from the fact that I asked about sources?
Did they have a two-for-one sale down at the crack house?
I think O’bumbler got the marching orders out. He knows he can’t make much progress on gun bans, given the tremendous increase in weapons owners, CCW laws, Stand Your Ground laws...
So he needs to satisfy that part of his base (Joyce Foundation, the Brady Bunch, and all the other enablers) that “under the radar” he has tried to do something.
May be going against the grain for some, but I kinda tend to put stockpiling over practice and here’s the reasons:
From your username you were in Vietnam before me (1971-72). I was a Huey driver and sometimes traded places with the doorgunner to go over the freefire box & crank off some rounds. Qualified with M-16 in 1970 and last qualified in November 2010. Long story, but when I picked up an M-16 after ten year break in service, fired near expert score.
I first fired the 9mm in 2007, last time I qualified with pistol was with the .45. Fired expert this time. I guess I’m saying range time for me is more about insuring reliability and functionality with my chosen weapons than with expertise that is more or less ingrained. Well.... now that I’m retired, no more free range time, have to consider that.
For a marksmanship tune up, I fire a .177 air rifle or my .22 Ruger. Shotgun, that’s different. Gotta go kaboom every now and then, ‘specially with that 18” bbl.
Anyway, I’m still stocking up. That’s just hate, isn’t it?
;^)
FU JJ. Go Martin yourself idiot.
That's the plan.
Holder's people look to Zimbabwe for inspiration.
Yep. I am not trying to relearn what is muscle memory for trigger control, sight alignment, etc. Then again, if I tried to get into a good kneeling or sitting firing position, might not get back up for a while.
Recently finished building a LR 308 from parts. Still tinkering, and much of my shooting is gas system tuning and function check. Now I have a new 18.5" barrel and will go over it all again. Finding out NATO surplus 7.62 needs a hard hammer strike to fire, so trigger tinkering goes on as well.
So when the looting & burning start before you start targeting looters target the newscrews that are encouraging them . Burning news trucks & talking heads with bloody faces send a powerful message to the talking heads bosses.
Every now and then I find myself wanting one of these thugs to attack, then reality sets in.
I am 65 and not in the best condition. I was an athlete through college and was once the best shot in my gun club.
If I failed to get my gun and the attack lasted more than 10 seconds, I would be done for. Over the years I have shot less and less. I still think I am a good shot but have surprised myself by missing targets I never would have years ago. If I kept up my practice I think I could regain my shooting eye but just don’t seem to find the time now.
Then there is the problem with the court system. I am confident I would not do something illegal but I have no desire to be arrested, have to hire a lawyer etc.
Still when all is said and done, I really do keep myself ready. I always look around and if someone looks oddly at me, I glare at them and am ready to take them on. Not physically but mentally.
