I am not sure but I think I have never told that story to anyone else bur my date that evening. We broke up later that Summer but stayed good fiends which is fairly unusual

I am almost 71 years old.

In my adult lifetime, I have had to show a handgun seven times to discourage potential criminal behavior directed towards me.

Never had to shoot anyone, but in every case, I was mentally prepared to do so.

So far, letting the “bad guys” know I was armed has worked.

I am a firm believer in the “Colt equalizer” theory of social interaction.
