Conservatives are shocked at how few of us there are, not that some Republican officials endorse liberal candidates, for that is the norm.
This is no different from the crap we all do with in laws we don’t like or folks we work with who we don’t like. Why some folks don’t understand that the business of politics is much like other office situations in a lot of ways - decorum when you don’t really like someone being among them.
This isn’t a RINO vs Conservative battle we have going on. It’s more like a GOP Establishment vs the people, the base, conservative grassroots, etc. Once a person enters the “establishment” realm, it seems like good people are sucked into the establishment swamp. Patriotism is dead.
This WOULD be a spot on article except it’s PAUL Ryan.
PLEASE, guys, if you are going to make a point, get the names straight. This kind of writing, while we might know who Ryan is, looks like maybe the author isn’t quite as up on things as he is trying to say.
Yet another bullet in the left’s ammo box.
DON’T give the left a reason to mock us.
Yes, we say these betrayals coming. Lots of us said so. Paul Ryan and Marco Rubio are moving on up. They will go with the flow...and as Sarah says....”Only dead fish go with the flow.”
It’s truism we should pay closer attention to. Conservatives should not be fooled again.
Being in the Republican party dooms us to a forever list of their future candidate picks for President - if we are lucky enough to have ANY future elections at all.
If you are going out on a high horse please make sure the horse is the only one high.
Rubio denounced the Tea Party as soon as he got to DC. He opposed Arizona illegal immigrant law. Ryan wanted to use the Tea Party to cut social security, but other that, he’s had nothing to do with the TP.
None of them are concerned with the restoring the consitution by axing departments and returning functoins to states.
