There’s plenty of self policing on here as to those sort of comments. It astounds me that there are no repercussions for those making threats.Bounties even!
I guess the real lesson once more driven home is its not what is said but rather who says it. If we were the one’s making threats or posting bounties we’d have already been locked up.

This raises an interesting point. Since the Just Us department has refused to initiate any actions against those making racist death threats, I wonder what would happen if someone very carefully crafted an “anti-assassin defense fund” to *protect* those associated with the event “from attacks by racist assassins”.

This would have to be set up by some skilful lawyers to avoid being unlawful, and would be far more a publicity stunt than any actual armed defense, but it could accomplish some very interesting political goals.

1) To demonstrate that the Just Us Department is criminally and unconscionably discriminatory.

2) As a warning to racial agitators that efforts to promote riots, public disturbances, group attacks like ‘state fair wildings’, and individual race-based assaults against honest citizens will not be tolerated by those honest citizens, who are prepared to defend themselves and other honest citizens from attack.

3) When a ‘mass event’ by racist agitators is proposed, counter their proposal by scheduling a “concealed carry day”, to encourage honest citizens to arm themselves and be aware of those who wish to riot, rob and loot, vandalize, and assault honest citizens. As a *purely defensive* gesture.

That is, while they may have their legal protest with no problem or incitement, if they trespass against the law and there are no LEOs available to protect the public, then ordinary citizens should be prepared to do so.

4) To clearly identify those agitators calling for violence, as well as their confederates (such as politicians and leaders of the ‘Occupy’ movement), that seek to foment violence and criminal discord and riot.
