I wouldn't go all out. I'd stock the basic stuff. Maybe some chairs and a coffee pot for the old farts around town to hang out and watch town through the big windows.

I grew up in Boyne City and years ago, my cousin's parents built an A&W hamburger stand. On the property next door, my cousin built a bait and tackle shop which was the only one in town, he made a killing.
I think he may have eventually sold it because now he does primarily walleye fishing charters in Lake Charlevoix whereas before when he had the shop, his charters were for lake trout and salmon in Lake Michigan off Charlevoix.
Those were the days before they started stocking Lake Charlevoix with the walleye......
He tried to convince me to open a shop in Charlevoix at the time he built his but I wasn't a business kind of person.
