Well i used to be a regular blood donor in Australia, i am AB RH(D) Positive, but they stopped me after the Mad Cow episode in the Uk coz i ate some beef, and i now live in Samoa where there are only about 20 people with the same blood group, a fellow fell ill and they asked me to donate, so i went to the hospital and was rejetced coz i am now diabetic, something about antibodies. Poor fellow died.

I have A2B-negative....at one time my brother, my cousin and I all lived in Houston. We were told by medical people we were probably the only three people in Houston with that type blood. It’s extremely rare and even more that three people in the same family has it. But’s no big deal. We can take any other negative blood.
