In an exclusive interview with The Blaze, Rep. Bobby Rush (D-IL) explains what motivated him to break House rules and put on a hoodie during a chaotic speech on Tuesday. It was a speech that eventually led to him getting yanked from the podium.
When asked on Tuesday afternoon why he wore the hoodie on the House floor, he responded, To demonstrate my outrage of Trayvon Martins Murder.
The reason he was killed was because he was a black man wearing a hoodie in a white neighborhood, he added.

Maybe Sons of Barack works better?

His “hoodie” looks like it’s a high-end model from REI.
“Sons of Obama
You may have inadvertently named the civilian army intended to create disorder this summer.”
Hey Laz! You’re probably right. It’s going to be a long hot summer in the inner-cities. They are already ramping up the rhetoric, with the “civil unrest” to follow soon after. Obama needs a huge ‘Reichstag Fire’ leading up to the election and I fear he will use this class/race warfare to light it. Keep your head down and your powder dry!
He has the distinction of defeating Barack Obama in the 2000 Illinois 1st District Congressional Primary, Obama's only election defeat to date. Rush has held the seat ever since. Rush also was a co-founder of the Illinois Branch of the original Black Panther Party.
Except that the “white neighborhood” turns out to be a mixed race apartment complex. I tell you, if you’re even one day behind on this story you risk making yourself look ridiculous. Each day it seems like another leg is kicked out from under the original “narrative”.
so the black supremacist is telling everyone to walk around with their face obscured and with large protruding objects in their pockets.. and Whorealdo apologized for telling that wearing a hood (which hid the face) used to be a signal that someone was up to no good.
I need to drink until this all makes sense..
If that's the plan, you prolly don't have enough on hand
Yeah I seem to remember he was a Black Panther, but I wasn’t sure of his exact role.
How did someone that is completely illiterate make it to Congress?
Easy, his constituents are just as illiterate!
How did someone that is completely illiterate make it to Congress?.. that’s pretty much the entirety of the democrat caucus. all mouth breathing, drooling idiots that do what Pelousy says and she returns insider stock info in exchange for votes. Which is why Giffords fit in perfectly.
If I was a member of Congress I’d be embarrassed.
Uh, dude, the neighborhood wasn’t a “white” neighborhood.
It was 49% white and 51% black and Hispanic.
That total doesn’t amount to a “white neighborhood”.
