Ridiculous. You can register all the trademarks you want, but you have to be willing and financially able to DEFEND them. Why do you think knock-off handbags, goilf clubs etc are so popular? Because anyone, including foreign interests can copy and duplicate anything they want. They are only blocked when you’re willingly to pay for legal remediation. Useless. Feelin’ very NLN!

in the realm of entertainment — perhaps I’ve watched too many movies about Motown — “intellectual property rights” are...well, I think the idea dies even before all the syllables have had their utterance. One doesn’t go citing jurisprudence to a Mob enforcer.
