I was at the FIRST Pollo Loco in America on the FIRST day it opened. In L.A.. If memory serves me right it was at 3rd and Alvarado. I might even have been the first “gringo” there as well. I saw no others.

I loved that place!
The chickens not fried, its fall apart roasted with like an orange marinate, rice, beans, tortillas..

I have been jonsing for a chicken pot pie from the colonel.
The commercials are working on me and I have had some nice chicken there, but as I said, the last time I bought a pie from them, there was NO chicken in it

BTW,, do you know what the colonel does with the chicken Aholes?
He sells them to Mc Donald.
So if you bite into a Bic Mac and you hear “BRRRaaapp” you know, thats the colonel LOL
