Anybody who has worked with Adobe Illustrator and similar programs knows perfectly well that the certificate as offered is bogus.
But nooo...there are folks here who will insist that the multiple layering is a natural artifact of a single scan, never mind that the hex edits of those various layers show DIFFERENT time stamps. Nothing to see. Move along.
Yes indeed there is no way a scanned original to PDF could have the layers it has, had it not been altered.
Why the forger did this can only be one of two reasons:
1. Really careless.
2. Wanted us to see that it was a forgery.
I find it intriguing that Sheriff Arpaio has alluded to having a lead on the forger. Maybe the forger is patriotic?
That digitally pasted copy of abstracts of different bits of data "on file," with the HIDOH was pretty darn good, if you ask me. Especially for a home job. Although I suspect that nice lady at Kinko's may have helped with the official looking green pattern paper.
