Unfortunately, Detention and Removal people at ICE frequently make mistakes like this. I know of a case where a drug smuggler crashed an airplane full of ecstasy in the U.S. and was arrested by ICE. The detention people didn’t read his file and allowed him a voluntary return to Canada, as if he was just an illegal crosser.

I thought the Obamaloons argued that their policy was to let non-violent illegals go so they could concentrate on the real criminals within the illegal population.

Am I missing something here or is any policy that depends on selective culling doomed to failure.
