What is this “Act 50” that he keeps referring to?

At first I thought it to be reference to USC Title 50, but that isn’t the case. Title 10 and 50 establish HOW the national defense apparatus is built upon. Title 10 is the “manning, training, and equipping” of our armed forces by the service chiefs, and Title 50 is everything else needed for warfighting. They are most definately constitutional because they depend upon the Congress for authorization and appropriations.

This EO is straight up Communism with no Congressional oversight.

The "Act" is the Defense Production Act of 1950 (Public Law 81-774, 81st Congress 774th bill undertaken) as stated in the EO... By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including the Defense Production Act of 1950...

50 U.S.C. App. 2061 and other such references is here...

@TITLE 50, APPENDIX—WAR AND NATIONAL DEFENSE

@DEFENSE PRODUCTION ACT OF 1950— (§§ 2061—2172) - CIVILIAN PROTECTION FROM WAR HAZARDS

Thanks for your input. Is he essentially re-writing the National Defense Act through executive fiat? From what I’ve been reading on the internet about it, it sounds unConstitutional in the first place.
