1996 PROVED Newt got results, Romney got Romney Care, Paul didn’t get shit done, and Santorum got a few dribs and dabs here and there done....
Newt headed the 1996 conservative revolution in the middle of hostile times/territory, got shafted by moderates in his party and was eventually exonerated it is time for his comeback as POTUS and herald in the Conservative revolution of 2012.
Beating up on Lawyer Ricky is a waste of time given the fact the electorate is so emotions and feelings oriented that they elected Barry.
Lawyer Ricky worked his entire life to cultivate the same mindset and ultimately the same "flexible" values as the other lawyers in the Senate so that's what will come out sooner or later. Today, he's solidly for what Little Ricky says he deeply believes. Today, he may even deeply believe what he says he believes. Once he's actually the candidate, though, well then he has to concern himself with, "all the people" because if elected, he'll have to represent, "all the people".
Lawyer Ricky will do whatever the polls and strategists say Lawyer Ricky should do in order first to get the nomination (or be the VP which is what I think his goal is) and second, to win the election if he is the nominee. People have no problem supporting and voting for those who went to law school to become professional chameleons then whine "their candidate" changing tunes once they're in office.
Sooner or later people need to wake up and stop pretending they're shocked that the professional prostitute they supported acts just like a prostitute once they're in office.

What results have we had from Newt since he was booted as Speaker?
Talk, talk, talk, and much of it was for liberal causes like global warming.
The only reason the plentiful manufactured hit pieces aren’t out on Newt is because he has no way to win.
Perhaps you could dredge up a few on Romney from time to time in the effort to balance things out a bit.
