You’re looking at this like a rational patriot. I suggest that politicians are rarely patriots in this age. If the Republicans control Congress, they control the purse strings and most of the committees. Most politicians don’t care about America, Americans, or where the country is headed. They do care about their bank account, and their power. Obama can do as he pleases, as long as it doesn’t impact Congress’ ability to enrich themselves.
Look at all the things going on, and the relatively impotent reaction of Republicans. I would say that the simple fact that Eric Holder is still in office tells you how much Republicans care about doing what’s right for America.
You’re right about that. The typical politician, GOP or rat cares only about his personal power, perks and priveledges. America is a distant fourth if they care at all!
