I know a station/programming manager for a Cumulus station in the South, and he told me about this a couple months ago. He's livid about this, and says corporate “suits” ignored him when he told them this move would crush the 10/1 time slot and push a majority of listeners who the stations that pick Rush up.
They're pushing down this road despite many warnings. I'm sure glad I'm not a Cumulus stock owner.
