Suppose we had definitive proof that Obama was born in Kenya to parents who had never set foot in the United States, and that Obama had slipped into the U.S. in the luggage hold of an air plane from Castro’s Cuba, paid for by the Soviet Union.
The American public wouldn’t give a rip. About half would treat this is some sort of heroism.
Congress would not and will not act to remove Obama on the basis of his birth.
Furthermore, that Obama was born in Hawaii does not make him a citizen.
Obama is, arguably, not eligible for the Presidency because he is not a natural born citizen to parents who were citizens. More importantly, he is acting with hostility to U.S. interests domestically and abroad. But about half the American public still likes him, and will vote for the next socialist who comes along even if they toss him out for Romney this time around.
