Rossi has been caught in some whopper lies.
Yesterday, the New Energy Times published an extremely damning report regarding Andrea Rossi and his E-Cat:
Andrea Rossi, the inventor of the Energy Catalyzer, told an inspector from the Florida Bureau of Radiation Control that he has no factory in the United States and that no nuclear reactions occur in his devices.Rossi's statements contradict nearly everything he has said in the last year about his claims of a factory and his development of a low-energy nuclear reaction device.

Hey, Kevmo, isn't it time to drag out your "Unfortunately, if Rossi did these things..." rant you used to post regularly?
Is it possible that Rossi does not own the FL factory where manufacturing is supposed to occur? Is it possible there is no nuclear reaction (i.e. no radiation) in the type of “fusion” he claims?
Just asking...
This guy (Rossi) is going to flee the country soon.
Is it possible that Rossi does not own the FL factory where manufacturing is supposed to occur? Is it possible there is no nuclear reaction (i.e. no radiation) in the type of fusion he claims?Rossi has claimed all along that his device generates gamma radiation and transmutes elements. Both of these can only occur in nuclear reactions.
Rossi has claimed for months that he was building a robotic factory in Florida that would produce one million devices a year.
Rossi also claimed in mid-January that he had already provided working E-Cats to Underwriter's laboratory, which would have been crazy unless they actually worked. According to this latest statement to a Florida government agent investigating him, he never did that, making his earlier statement a clear lie (and an attempt to "borrow" credibility from U.L.).
Just a week ago, a representative from National Instruments sent an email out explaining that they had never signed a contract with Rossi, that they hadn't done any technical work for or with Rossi, and that they had never designed a controller for Rossi. Rossi had been lying about this since November.
Basically, Rossi has been shown to be a liar regarding every aspect of his "business".
This guy (Rossi) is going to flee the country soon.Which country?
Although Rossi claims to be a "permanent resident" of the United States, and has claimed (falsely, it turns out) that he was building a factory here in Florida, I've never seen any indication that he was actually spending any time in the United States (other than a 2-day publicity trip to Massachusetts). Everything he's done, as far as I can tell, has been done in Italy.
Keep in mind that UL approval doesn’t mean that the product works: theoretically, a UL-approved line cord properly connected to an empty box with a knob and some safety labels on it could be “UL Approved”, because it is safe.
I believe Rossi now!!
Because I made one myself, and it really works!!!
Give me a million dollars and you can see it
Keep in mind that UL approval doesnt mean that the product worksCorrect.
Actually, my father was a consulting engineer who for 25 years helped companies get U.L. listings for their products. Some of his knowledge rubbed off on me.
U.L. requires "production-ready" devices to test. They don't have to be manufactured on the assembly line used for production, but they have to be build using the same materials and processes as the production version. For example, if the production version uses welded seams, the submitted device can not use bolted seams.
It's obvious (and has been for months) that Rossi has been lying about every business relationship he has mentioned. He's been starting talks with companies, then name-dropping this to his shills, and then terminating the negotiations before he had to spend any money or provide a working device.
He did this with the University of Bologna, the University of Uppsala, NASA, National Instruments and now Underwriter's Laboratory.
Note that his current victim is Siemens. I expect to hear the same story from them soon.
By definition, a fusion reaction is a nuclear reaction.
Confucius say man`s cold fusion is Con-Fusion.
From the link: He deserves credit as a pioneer in the Ni-H LENR field, but I don't have high expectations about his ability to pull off a successful launch of a company that will introduce this product to the market.
Rossi deserves no credit. Sterling Allan is way too generous with him.
1. He may not have ownership technically, so that answer would be true.
2. The reaction ‘may’ produce gamma radiation, but the whole thing is considered impossible by everybody and the reaction type may be outside of what any government agency considers ‘nuclear reaction’. Is there an actual physicist on here that has lab experience who could speak to this?
Rossi deserves no credit. Sterling Allan is way too generous with him.True.
Even though both Rossi and Defkalion have shown themselves to have absolutely no credibility, they can still rescue themselves.
All they have to do (either one) is allow an honest, independent test of their device by a credible testing organization. That's it. If they do that, they can still prove that they have the most revolutionary invention of the last 100 years.
Of course, they won't do that. They'll come up with some lame excuse why we should ignore the mountain of evidence that they are frauds. But they will never actually allow a proper test of their gadgets.
In mid-January, Rossi claimed that he was actively working with U.L., and that he had already provided them with working devices for their independent testing. (LINK, at 20:00). When confronted by a Florida government agent, he claimed he had not done this. Claiming that U.L. was already testing the E-Cat would be strong evidence that it was legitimate. But that was a lie.
There's also the recent revelation that National Instruments never did any technical work for Rossi and that, in particular, they never designed a controller for the E-Cat. Rossi lied repeatedly and in great detail about this for three months.
It has become obvious that Rossi has been lying about all of his business relationships. He has been using them to provide phony credibility for himself and his "invention".
It's hard to imagine that he would be doing this if he really had a revolutionary new technology. It makes perfect sense, however, if his E-Cat is a fraud.
I’m shocked.
When Sterling Allan doesn’t believe you, you’ve really hit rock bottom.
The worse part of this is it will taint legitimate LENR or LANR research.
So:
1) What happened to the E-cat that was heating his factory in Italy? Does this guy name drop ‘factory’ at every opportunity? He wants us to believe he’s as big as GM.
2) What happened to NI showing him so much regarding electronic controls?
3) What happened with the deal to have the University of Bologna test his devices?
Both #2 & #3 are his attempts to piggyback some of NI’s and UOB’s credibility.
4) When is the BBB going to his super secret customer?
5) Is he still claiming that he has a deal with Home Depot to install his devices?
6) Do his devices still have a self destruct mechanism? Can’t see how UL would object to that or the rest of the alphabet agencies that will have regulatory rights to his device either.
I could see a conspiracy by the PTBs (oil companies, you name it, this will be along the lines our Rossi fanboys will spew, except they will say it’s the PTBs that are out to get Rossi) to have Rossi discredit LENR or LANR research, then again, would you base your conspiracy on such an unreliable person?
2) What happened to NI showing him so much regarding electronic controls?Actually, Julia Getts (National Instruments) sent a follow-up email clearly stating that NI never had a contract with Rossi, that they only conducted preliminary sales negotiations with Rossi, and that they never designed a controller for him. So Rossi's NI lies are totally exposed.
Once his lies about NI were exposed, Rossi then claimed that he had "fired" NI, and he is now in bed with Siemens.
I assume Rossi and his zombie army are already working on their excuses for when Siemens denies that they've ever worked on Rossi's E-Cat.
So, did Mats Lewan make that up? Or did Rossi lie to him about it then? Or did Rossi lie to the Florida government about it now?
Whether or not he "owned" the building is irrelevant. He's been claiming for more than six months that he was engaged in manufacturing in Miami. Now, he claims that all the manufacturing is overseas.
Oh, noes, Rossi lied!I'm shocked! Shocked, I tell you! ;-)
As someone mentioned above, this is going to hurt the entire LENR research community. Especially all those researchers who were gullible enough to believe Rossi's demos.
Focardi (assuming he wasn't involved in the scam), Levi, Celani, Kullander, Essen, Jed Rothwell and many others have all demonstrated that they can't be trusted to distinguish between a breakthrough and a fraud in their area of expertise.
There is not much call for an "expert" who has been shown to be so thoroughly wrong.
