I was watching it (no sound) over the shoulder of my daughter. Just watching it I could tell it was propoganda - pretty slick stuff, lots of quick images to get the pulse and hope going. Especially for a young kid. Interesting to read about the methods used in this thread.

As I told my kids - there are a lot worse folks in the world than this Coney Island guy. And why should we be so worried about him all of a sudden. (Almost every youtube video has a link now about “getting koney”.) I told my kids it was probably a “wag-the-dog” type thing.

Good observation. The usual tip-off is being long on hysterics & theatrics, short on detail and facts. The trick for young folk is to develop the skills to accurately discern what is or is not being said, and not get manipulated by how it's being said/presented.
