Breaking – Mitt Caught Lying about Individual Mandate: Romneyslayer Videos
Gulag Bound ^ | March 5, 2012 | Arlen Williams

Aside from the overall, Cloward-Piven-style run-up of the national debt, this has only been the biggest, most inflammatory issue of the Obama regime, to date. Why should it be important now, in choosing a Republican challenger, silly?

Why not nominate a GOP candidate who not only pushed the essence of Obamacare, but to whom Rep. Joe Wilson could just as loudly shout, "You lie!" about it all?

On MSNBC tonight (Monday, 3/5) Lawrence O'Donnell showed two video spiels by Mitt Romney:

  1. Romney during a presidential debate, ridiculing Obama for doing the Romneycare individual mandate nationally. In it, he said he would never have suggested this be done. He was being quite derisive about it, Mitt-style.
  2. Romney on Meet the Press in 2009, confidently hawking... the Romneycare individual mandate, for Obama to use.
Clearly, this must be fleshed out immediately, to give Republican primary and caucus voters a chance to see Romney's Smeagol-like deceit while there is still time for us to prevent his nomination.

We will update this article with more evidence, as if any were necessary, in the morning - maybe a bit more perspective, too.

Way too late! The process has almost finished and the Republicans have lost. Had no decent candidates at the beginning so why worry now...

I'd be tempted to think that looks trollish, but I've got better things to think about.

Romney is a serial compulsive liar, but unlike Bill Clinton, Romney just isn't that good at it.

Obama and Romney are both pathetic compulsive liars. I won't vote for either of them. If Romney gets the Republican nomination, then I will vote for the most conservative third party candidate.

Yea, I know... Keep up the good work! Our next “Conservative” candidate is Romney. Better get out there and work for his election.

Here is a debate between Santorum and Wofford in 1994. They discuss health care in the first 30 minutes. (It may take a while for the video to load) Excuse me if I'm a little suspicious of The Atlantic or Mother Jones telling the truth.

This will be a mute point when the SCOTUS rules at least the Individual Mandate unconstitutional.

Time for the Republicans to look for a genuine candidate for 2016. Another wasted year for the Republicans. Romney is going down to defeat to obamma.

It is time for a new national third party.

As disturbing as this is, I don’t think it would change the mind of the average Romney voter. They clearly aren’t motivated by logic or any real sense of conservatism.

My sole hope at this point is for a brokered convention...and the downfall of anyone who endorsed Willard Romney the open socialist.

Sorry but we know what Romney is already.

Far more damning is Santorum's lies about his own support for gov't healthcare mandates. He runs around saying he has clean hands so only he can debate Obama on the issue. It just isn't so.

He's a con artist exploiting faith and family to deflect from his voting record of coddling unions, recruiting lobbyists for the establishment, offering wild spending proposals like his half-billion extra for Amtrak rail and support for Sonya Sotomayor, Obama's 1st choice for Supreme Court.

More conservatives need to know Santorum's real record before making a terrible mistake.

Either he’s not lying, or our little Republican primarhy voters are so dense that they wouldn’t recognize a lie coming directly at them.

Newt responding to Romney’s attack on him that choosing as goal $2.50 per gallon was “pandering to the American people”:

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2012/03/05/gingrich_romney_is_rich_enough_not_to_worry_about_gas_prices.html

As Herman Cain justly observed , that’s not “pandering”, but setting goals and showing leadership, things that Romney is incapable to do.

Mitt is too bound to his Wall Street rich donors, who have spent more than $200 million on his campaign since 2008 ...
Romney’s six largest campaign contribution sources in 2011 were Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse, Citigroup and Bank of America. He has also taken huge amounts from firms such as HIG Capital, Blackstone Group, Elliott Management, Citadel Investment and Bain Capital. 91% of Romney’s donors donated more than $100,000 per head.

People, watch this: More of Mitt Romney’s lies in debates and adds debunked!!!

His competitors could have run incredibly effective ads. Just show clips of his liberal positions of the recent past, and say 'is this the candidate we want to send to challenge Obama? He is the most vulnerable candidate when a billion dollars of media will show these clips 24/7, and we will be stuck with 4 more years of the Obama agenda.'

I agree. Hopefully it will have some effect on the fringes, especially if it gets legs.

“Mitt is too bound to his Wall Street rich donors, who have spent more than $200 million on his campaign since 2008”

SINCE first setting eyes on the White House, Mitt Romney and his backers
have spent more than $US200 million - including $44.6
million of his fortune - on a seven-year quest for the Republican
presidential nomination. An analysis of Mr Romney’s campaign funding shows the depth of his
investment in trying to win the nation’s highest office, how his
supporters circumvented US federal campaign laws with huge, back-channel
donations years before he declared his candidacy, and to whom he might
owe favours if he wins.

In this, his second run for the presidency, the Romney
campaign has so far spent $54 million to January 31, according to
reports filed with the Federal Election Commission. It has been shadowed
by a pro-Romney ‘’super’’ political action committee that has spent at
least $US32 million.’’When you look at his operation, you end up with two words: Romney, Inc. This is a highly sophisticated, far-reaching money operation designed to
curry favour with politicians and local and state political
organisations, and it’s financed by donors who are bound to have great
influence with Mitt Romney if he’s elected president.’’ - Fred Wertheimer, the dean of Washington campaign finance watchdogs

Was just browsing around, and ran across this article, with the associated comments. Read this, and you’ll get a taste of what would happen if Romney becomes the nominee — it would be class welfare on STEROIDS until the election. Sob stories would abound ...

We do not want this. It will be a total DISASTER.
