This is huge; I remember SleepTrain from the days when it was just 1 or 2 stores in Sacramento —the Howe ‘bout Arden store (if it’s still there) is just maybe 3 blocks from KFBK, where Rush started out. I mean, that’s where all the magic started, where Rush got his big break.
You can comfortable WALK from KFBK to SleepTrain’s first store.
In the early days Rush and SleepTrain were like hand-in-glove, like Clinton and Tyson chicken Arkansas sweat-houses.
This is huge, huge, huge and....I cannot see any way that Rush cannot afford to NOT make an example of them, somehow; if he doesn’t, it will just be work, work, work.
It’s hard, cuz Rush is actually polite, loyal, and a real professional.
I was wrong —I just haven’t been back to Sacramento in some time:
I check the map, and the distance from KFBK where Rush started to where SleepTrain started is about 200 METERS...!!
This is seriously the biggest stab-in-the-back imaginable.
RUSH MADE THOSE GUYS AND HAS BEEN ***LOYAL**.
I wonder if the store could have changed owners in all these years and the new one’s aren’t fans.....big mistake for them...
