Youll not only lose sleep reading it...itll haunt you for a long time.
I found the second book in the series even more disturbing in many ways, and I had seen the drafts of much of it, as a sort of volunteer editor/reviewer, before I purchased and read the whole thing.
The third followed from the first two.. with a little special action thrown in. At least THAT probably won't happen, I hope, at least not quite as soon as the book's timeline. Although since it's happened before, the most recent being about just a few months over 200 years ago, but also many times before then, it could certainly happen again.
But according to that link, the average time between events is 200-300 years, and they estimate a 25% chance by 2040. So it's not as far fetched as I'd hoped. :)
On another note #EFAD hit number one on the free books list for Genre fiction within the past 10 or 15 minutes!!
Hoo FReeping Rah!!!
Actually Matthew just posted the info to facebook a few minutes ago, the actual event occurred longer ago... but still.
HOOOOOOOORAAAAAAH!!
El Gato!!! It’s been forever and a day!! Hope ALL is well with you...!!!
I’ve only read the first two of Matt’s books. They both were...way too haunting. However, it’s REALITY that’s haunting, isn’t it.
Brad & I are doing some Amazon shopping this weekend...provided I’m not WAY over the top for this month’s budget *gak*, I’ll buy both of the remaining...if not, the Blue Book. ;)
Did I read you right that you saw it as #1??? I’m showing it’s dropped a bit tonight. PLEASE take a screenshot if you see its numbers go back up!
Carry ON!
