Former West Palm Beach Mayor Lois Frankel, running for Congress in District 22, no longer has U.S. Rep. Allen West, R-Plantation, to rail against. West announced hell be running in District 18 this year. Frankel now chooses to ignore her most immediate opponents -- Kristin Jacobs, who shell be facing in the Democratic primary, and Adam Hasner, the presumed Republican nominee -- to set her sights on bigger game. The former mayor chose to redirect her anger and frustration at the entire U.S. House Republican leadership and the Roman Catholic Church hierarchy. Well, no one can say she doesnt set high goals for herself.
In a series of emails beginning Feb. 17, Frankel voiced her displeasure over the fact that female witnesses were shut out from testifying at a House committee hearing on the contraceptive mandate recently issued by the Department of Health and Human Services. In one email, Frankel described the hearings as being about womens health and decried the fact that no women were invited to testify. In her Feb. 24 email, she repeated her objection that Republicans had gone too far when they refused to let any women testify about access to birth control, again describing the committee proceedings as womens health hearings.

I’m getting tired of all the “twisting” the truth. The presidential candidates do it, the local candidates do it. Everyone does it if they think it furthers their purpose. It’s really beginning to bother me as it seems to be getting more blatant and more twisted.
That woman is the epitome of “pay to play”. She is so corrupt and she ruined West Palm Beach with her overpriced library and way over budget of a city hall. I can’t stand her!
She has lot of nerve to run for a federal office after what was in that grand jury report. Are the voters really this stupid?
Me too, SmileRight! We just have to keep plugging away and let the people know the truth.
