Thank you Lakeshark for not just sitting on your hands but taking action to contact your friends.

What’s the Michigan aura right now in Ground Zero Michigan?

We already know about the phone calls and ad blitz from the Bishop. But what about Santorum volunteers on street corners, phone banks, yard signs, and the like? ie Is the mood optimistic,,and do you get a sense that they are mobilized and organized?

I barely ever leave my really tiny town so I seldom see more than a handful of people everyday but I know my neighbors and a few of the old folks I run into at the post office are Santorum voters.

In 2010 the polls all said my congressional candidate was a likely loser right up to election day, then he ended up winning by 5%. Many of our local papers have taken a hard left turn so they aren’t to be trusted.

I think Santorum will pull off a narrow win here even if I have to march my neighbors to the polling place at gunpoint.

They are holding their own, but the scorched earth campaign has to be having an effect. I know nothing of the Santorum ground game and have never seen one of their volunteers (he is not my first choice, as stated earlier). Romney is coming to our neck of the woods tomorrow, I wish I had the time to protest him. Cripplecreek may know more about their organization here, and what the scuttle from them is.
