'Game Change' -- Anatomy of a Smear of Sarah Palin (Mittbots and Hollywood in collusion)

Thanks to some remarkable reporting from Big Hollywood, it has become increasingly clear the upcoming HBO movie "Game Change" is less a political melodrama than an all-out attempt to destroy the person and reputation of Sarah Palin.

The movie is based on a poorly researched book by John Heilemann and Mark Halperin, and it was criticized at the time of its publication by Howard Kurtz, then a media reporter for the Washington Post, and the New York Times for its overreliance on unsourced "deep background" interviews that were difficult to verify.

Two of those sources have been revealed, according to the Los Angeles Times, as Steve Schmidt and Nichole Wallace, John McCain campaign operatives widely regarded as being responsible for McCain's defeat in 2008. The suspicion is Schmidt and Wallace are attempting to shift the blame for the debacle on Palin. The movie excises the Palin story from the book and then adds to it.

For instance, the movie makes the claim Palin did not know the Queen of England does not have governing power, which resides in the prime minister. But Big Hollywood reports an interview Palin had at the time on the Sean Hannity show in which she expresses her great admiration for Margaret Thatcher, who was the prime minister of Great Britain.

The movie also depicts Palin having a nervous breakdown during the campaign. But as Palin's trip director Jason Recher notes, there was no breakdown. It didn't happen. HBO just made it up....

Schmidt joined the Bush administration as a Deputy Assistant to the President and Counselor to Vice President Dick Cheney. In 2004, he was a member of the senior strategic planning group, led by White House adviser Karl Rove, that ran President George W. Bush's re-election campaign; Schmidt oversaw the reelection "war room"....
In 2006, Schmidt left the White House to become the campaign manager in the re-election campaign for California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger...
Schmidt voiced his support for gay rights at meeting of the Log Cabin Republicans, a gay Republican group. He said: "I just wanted to take a second to come by and pay my respect and the campaign's respect to your organization and to your group. Your organization is an important one in the fabric of our party."
Schmidt said about his lesbian sister and her life partner: "On a personal level, my sister and her partner are an important part of my life and our children's life. I admire your group and your organization and I encourage you to keep fighting for what you believe in because the day is going to come."

This “movie” was made because the left assumed Sarah would run for President, this was made so they could trash her in the assumption she would run. No one watches HBO anyway then far left kooks so really, no one else is going to give a crap about this disgusting film. Nicole Wallace and Steve Schmidt are Romneybots who from Day 1 were pissed that McCain did not pick Romney as his VP, from that instant they did everything in their power to destroy the campaign, and McCain did nothing to stop it

Steve Schmidt and Nicolle Wallace have done as almost much damage to this country through their unbridled jealousy and hatred of Sarah Palin than Obama himself. And after the 2008 election, Wallace herself came out as an Obama supporter, while Schmidt attached himself to Team Romney.

I keep saying that as long as people pay their hard earned cash to see Hollyweird movies and watch Hollyweird TV, we only support and encourage their liberal, perverted, corrupt lifestyle.

As much as I love and respect Gov. Palin, I’m not sure that she will be the next POTUS. The press has done a LOT of damage with their smears of her and a LOT of people have bought into their lies.

Personally, I’d love to see her in the WH as the president, but I’m not ready to put my money where my heart is just yet. There are a lot of miles to go between now and November and a lot of stuff can (and probably will) happen!
