Rush can’t hit Drudge too hard since he wouldn’t have a show if the Drudge Report went away.. that’s almost entirely his source of daily material and usually in the same order

Oh bullshit. You think Rush criticizing Drudge is going to make Drudge "go away"?
Rush was a superior talent in broadcasting long before Drudge figured out how to copy and paste URLs on his web page and make lots of money doing it. Rush Limbaugh has genuine talent, Matt Drudge is just a clever website operator with lots of bandwidth, and Rush will still be around long after Drudge has passed from the scene.

He gets more material from FreeRepublic. It is likely you have read many of his posts, and you often hear him make statements that our fellow freepers have written. I am proud that we are a major source of his “show prep”.
We have a lot more news than Drudge and you can tell items that are striking a chord by the amount of response threads are getting or the number of times similar stories are being posted. The attack on Rev. Franklin Graham is a prime example.

FR should build a competing front page to Drudge and simply use the articles posted here every day to feed headlines to it. Give Rush a conservative alternative to the RINO media.
