Your cartoon bears false witness, one of the 10 commandments NO NO’s. About Newt being married 3 times; It is a bold face lie that he served his first wife with divorce papers while she was dieing in the hospital. His first wife (mother of his 2 daughters) is still alive, she asked him for the divorce, has appeared with her 2 daughters on the stage with him and remains a good friend. His second wife left him, and they were separated and living apart for 6 years. It was during that 6 yrs. he met his 3 rd wife.
About the ethics charges, he was exonerated on all charges. It was a witch hunt. It was all about a college course he was teaching and as to whether or not he was teaching a course that too right-wing. A bipartisan panel analyzed the course and determined there was nothing political about it. And shutting down the govt. He should have been praised if that were really true. Newt is a genius and people like you have to destroy him because he is a threat to the people who think they are the smartest in the room.

About the ethics charges, he was exonerated on all chargesThat isn't in his favor. Even though he was innocent, he negotiated himself a $300,000 settlement and an admission of guilt. Do we want a negotiator who is so terrible that he could take a full house and lose to a king high? The Democrats will run roughshod over him.

I don’t believe there is any “false witness” The cartoon merely has the word “divorces” of which he has had more than one, correct? There is nothing about his dying wife in the cartoon. I know he has been slandered in the press but so has every candidate. They distort the truth. Lighten up, my sister!
You don’t have to sell me on Newt. When he announced, I went to the library and read his book. He’s got some great ideas, & I’ll vote for him if he gets the nomination.
But, do I think Newt is the best candidate? No.
