I saw that WSJ article. It seems the French don’t give their children everything they want when they want it and teach them patience, self-control, and more respect for authority. The children turn out much better behaved.
Actually that is what happens in most countries. The US is the outlier, not France.
It’s because the French simply don’t have anything near enough to what can be found here in America.
