Are they opposing Obamacare overall or will they support it if they win the exclusion for themselves?
It’s my understanding that they’re not fighting for the exclusion for just themselves, but for all Americans. However, I would guess that there’s still an internal debate over withdrawing support for ObamaCare overall. Too many bishops have forgotten the Catholic principle of subsidiarity, which is quite compatible with the Founding Fathers’ concept of federalism.
