What was the deal with the cat, I didn’t watch the show. I didn't catch the show, but the trailer for the show has Megan holding a cat with her finger pointing at its head giving the impression she would shoot it if she had to for survival.
This is an interview with Megan where she talks about the Nat Geo offer.

I just relooked at that URL. Apparently the $1,000 offer has been redacted.
Dontcha just love technology?
There is, however, a reference to the offer in the comment section that follows, so I know I read it. Otherwise I might have thought I dreamed it.
