I suppose someday somebody in a future generation will be talking about all the contributions made by Mexican Drug Cartels to North American culture. We will all be a little more naturally tan skinned then also. As interesting as the Vikings were they were pagan killers and thieves. I know they make up much the ancestry of the population in some areas in Britain and did as much trading as stealing. They might of raised European expectations of business opportunities in the world if you were bold enough to take chances, but besides that I am not seeing it.
