Mexican law doesn’t trump the US Constitution.
Of course it doesn’t. My point was that in many countries, a child born there who has parents from another country then has dual citizenship (which would then make him/her ineligible for POTUS per our Constitution). But since Mexico doesn’t grant a foreign-parented child Mexican citizenship, then I assumed Mittens’ father was considered an American citizen only.
I’m not clear on what our Constitution says about that - does it consider such a child to have dual citizenship anyway?
