I had the good fortune of seeing Topol play Tevye in person two years ago. He was 73 at the time, but still put on a great performance.

Fiddler is one of my all time favorite movies.

This will be a treat, then. He’s a Sephardic new oleh with seven children, sings a stirring theme song, too. Probably the film that got him the role of Tevye.
