Jack Ruby:

He was a Mafia Lieutenant, a llow life scumbag whose job was to take care of details like planting the bullet on a stretcher at Parkland Hospital, keep Oswald in line.BEFORE the assassination etc.

When things went very wrong as Oswald was NOT killed in the theatre, he had to kill Oswald to silence him as the Mafia would hold Ruby responsible for the failure.

The Mafia wanted the Kennedys as much as LBJ and Hoover did.
