A lot of it was actually adopted at the state level across the nation. Involuntary sterilization of those deemed inferior was widely practiced. Euthanasia saw limited use as well. Not our finest moment.

You’re right, course. It wasn’t only the Nazis that went in for forcible “improvement” of the gene pool. Based on where Planned Parenthood still tends to locate its facilities, and the Left’s abuse of Gov. Palin and her baby boy, the “Brave New World” attitude continues to this day.
