Any chance of you trying a ‘juice’ fast? Get lots of fruits and vegetables and put them in a juicer. Drink it in place of a meal once per day ~ more if your doctor approves.

Add small amounts of barely tolerable foods little by little.

I’ve just seen a video that shows the amazing results folks are attaining. And it has the biblical stamp of approval.

PS - I’ll be praying for your improved health metmom so let me know how it goes. I plan to buy a juicer and do the same.

Here’s what I’m talking about...

This is the fun movie with an Australian guy.

90 min plus for the 1st one. The 2nd one explains the
same in under 10 minutes.

The problem is is that the vegetables and fruits ARE the barely tolerable ones. That's what I react to most - vegetables and then fruits.

Oats are about the only plant material I can tolerate in any quantities.

I can manage potatoes occasionally, along with a few cherries, blueberries, or some slices of apple (1/4 most).

The more I eat that stuff, the worse I react. So I have to rotate them through my diet.

They're finding out that foods can be treated with desensitization by drops but it's iffy. Some people do get worse that way.

My condition is MCAD, Mast Cell Activation Disorder. Not a true allergy as the reaction is not triggered by the usual allergic IgE pathway. Something else is triggering the mast cell activity and nobody knows what that is.

I don't test allergic to much of any foods, but simply cannot eat them without paying. It's very low risk for anaphylactic shock, fortunately, but when you feel like you' re going to die from something you ate, that's small consolation.

Thanks for your prayers and concern. I'll take a look at the videos and see if there's anything I might be able to use out of them.
