James Birdseye McPherson (November 14, 1828 July 22, 1864) was a career United States Army officer who served as a General in the Union Army during the American Civil War. He was killed at the Battle of Atlanta, the second highest ranking Union officer killed during the war and the only commander of a Union army to die in the field.
Thanks for the “other guy”info. I thought FOX said he was a retired officer from the neighborhood.

Update to the situation:
Apparently Paul’s life was threatened by the occupiers when he left, they also threatened him with sticks after he left the square. He reported this to the police, but they shrugged him off and told him to avoid the square. He now walks 11 blocks out of his way to avoid the square. He’s dealing with City Hall now.
He asks “You can help by calling William Line of the National Parks Service in DC. The phone number is 202-619-7177.”
Ping to 23, above
Just called the above number, The National Park Service says legally they can be there to express free speech, blah, blah, blah. He referred back to the following case as an example of their rights:

(Clark, Secretary of the Interior, et al. V. Community Creative Non-Violence et al.)
But, safety concerns should be reported to: Teresa_Chambers@NPS.gov
Soros’ and Ayer’s pet monkeys? They can't reason with their brains, so like the little obnoxious bullies they are they resort to violence? Did they all gather in a group circle afterwards and sing “Imagine” after they threatened this Patriot? Nuts!
“Did they all gather in a group circle afterwards and sing Imagine after they threatened this Patriot? Nuts!”.
I think that’s how they operate. But, then they lie and say they were the victim.
To all who replied, my name is Paul Ferro and I am greatful that people can see the truth about who these people are.
The last few days the National Parks Service has been blowing me off in my request that they see to it that I am able to access the park unmolested.
They don’t seem to feel that a citizen being threatened by masked occupiers in there park is any concern of there’s.
This is a typical response of government bueracrats but I am not shutting up. I am holding them responsible for carrying out the job that we as citizens pay them to do.
I’m meeting with a local fox news outlet tommorow to pitch my story. Thanks
Hi Paul, welcome to FR. You should start a new thread and post it in Activism section. You should get a lot of reads there and support as well. We’re all behind you!
The Park Service is on the side of the lawbreakers and squatters. But whose paying the salaries of the Park Service? You and I. Makes you wonder if any of the squatters are paying taxes based on the fact that they obviously aren't showing up for a job and have plenty of time to loiter and harrass.
