My take on it is that GM and the UAW were deceptive. Period.

In defense of GM and the UAW, perhaps the misrepresentation was on the part of the media or by those in the Obama Administration who may have floated the stories.

If the media misrepresented or people in the Obama Administration floated deceptive stories it was up to GM and the UAW to correct those bogus representations.

I'm sure at least some of those at GM and the UAW can read and surely read articles pertaining to their negotiations.

I thought the union owns 51% of GM, are they strinking aqgainst themselves?

Regardless, I am never buying another GM, and I will advise everyone I know against it as well.
