Everyone should be contacting their representatives in congress to support Rep. Mike Kelly’s bill to kill the $7,500 tax credit.
This tax credit is for all EV’s that qualify and includes the Chevy Volt and Nissan Leaf.

Why are US taxpayer subsidizing ANY foreign built car (like current LEAF’s)?
I think Repaublicans were in charge when the Prius Tax credits were enacted, but damn, this legislation writes itself and Getting Union Democrats to sign on should be easy.
As far as a $7500 subsidy on Volts, this will only be like $30 Million total in a $3 Trillion budget so that is a tiny drop in the bucket.
At least 1,000,000 Japanese made Prius’s alrready received their $7,500... THAT’S MY MONEY!!!!
