This is just a few miles from me. Looks like everybody got lucky with 6 non serious injuries. I think the truck driver was hauling pipe for oil infrastructure and got the lowboy flatbed hung up on the crossing.
It should be noted that this is the route our Governor wants for high speed fail. Looks like the cars off the track just barely missed some occupied buildings.

Leoni Michigan. Just a little west of Grass Lake. The last train derailment around here was in grass lake.

Thankfully it was an Amtrak train so no one was on board to be injured.
