Did Reagan always rely on reference to the safety net, or not? I think he popularized the term.
I’m listening to Rush now, first he outlined that Newt did poorly, then he totally sounded like he was sympathizing with Newt, then he played Scarborough saying Rush ain’t going to endorse Newt ....
Now he’s back to Newt having agreed with John Kerry on global warming, and only Santorum is pure (which I keep saying).
How much you want to bet Rush will never support Newt unless and until Newt is nominated? Please don’t call me a traitor for keeping an open mind.
Reagan also understood the concept of individual liberty and freedom. Romney’s default is statism. Romney’s context is completely different and the total opposit of Reagan’s. Remember, Romney was (and still is but wouldn’t say it) a proud progressive republican.
