Butterdezillion's synopsis is is quite good but lacks relevant details.

1) She did not identify the potential VS identity theft; it was actually the work of another researcher.
2) The referenced index book images that show VS is in both the 1960-1964 birth and death index. Another researcher actually visited the HDoH office and collected the images posted on the internet.
3) Why did she ask for a non-abbreviated COLB rather than the index data? I am quite certain she would have received a different answer had she just requested the index data. The HDoH is clearly not trying to hide the birth/death of VS. This is simply a concocted conspiracy theory by BZ.
4) She contended at one point that the VA was lying to her about VS’ burial at Punchbowl. Yes, VS was buried at Punchbowl after she died but was moved to Mililani Memorial Gardens in 1968 and buried with her father.
5) She contends that Director Fuddy changed the LFBC policy; that is not true. The HDoH is basing their LFBC denial on a memorandum written by a different director some 11 years ago. See http://hawaii.gov/health/vital-records/Policy_Memo_5_15_2001.PDF
6) Another researcher visited the family and was the person who determined VS was born at Wahiawa General Hospital. Her brother Duncan recently went on record and said she was transferred to Kapiolani where she died the next day.

My point is that BZ makes some reference to the work of others but does not acknowledge their contribution whatsoever. The work of a research team has been well documented by the Post and Email and WND and is the basis of other ongoing investigations including WND, The Birther Summit, the Cold Case Posse, etc.

Most researchers could care less about recognition but do take issue when their research is claimed to be the work of another individual. I really tired of persons writing about the eligibility issue as if all the research and discovery was completed entirely on their own when in reality it was the collective work of many. BZ is not the only person guilty of such transgressions.
