Stand With Arizona
Barack Obama's Tantrum-on-the-Tarmac in Phoenix Wednesday has given an unprecedented boost to the memoir of Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer.
In the 48 hours since Obama confronted Brewer over her depiction of their July 2010 Oval Office meeting - turning his back and walking away from her as she was still talking - her book, Scorpions for Breakfast, has exploded up the charts on Amazon.com.
SWA staffers took a screenshot of the book's rank of #344,761 an hour after the confrontation, and noticed that it had exploded to a stunning #26 by Friday morning: an increase of 3,932,160%. Amazon tells SWA this was by far a record rise for any book in the history of the online bookseller.
UPDATE: As of this post, the book has now reached an amazing #7 on Amazon!
To be honest, sales for the book initially disappointed as the mainstream media all but blacklisted the popular governor over her signature of the landmark S.B. 1070 crackdown on illegal aliens that led to more than 100,000 illegals fleeing Arizona.
But what the media denied her, Obama's petulant act has given her, and then some. Americans were stunned by the pettiness of a President taking on a welcoming governor over a mere 2 pages in a book that few had read. And they were inspired by this 67-year old grandmother refusing to back down - defending both her honor and her state that has been under nearly ceaseless attack by Obama and his minions for 18 months - merely for enforcing the laws that Obama refuses to enforce.
And in addition to giving Gov. Brewer renewed, nationwide attention, Obama has also managed to take his entire post-State of the Union message off track. Arizona was the 2nd stop on his 4 state trip on Wednesday - launched in Iowa with great fanfare. Yet it is nearly impossible to find any mention of his Chandler, AZ visit to Intel that day, or even much focus on his other stops. Google searches are dominated by reports of his confrontation with Brewer.
EPIC FAIL on two counts, Mr. President.
We stand with Governor Brewer, and urge everyone to support her by buying her book, or by signing the petition to Stand With Arizona and defend the work she has done to protect her state from the impact of Federal failure to secure the borders and deal with illegal immigration.
How wonderful!!That should tell the Muslim something like..We don’t like you fool so go away..
I told the owner how pleased I was to be doing business with an Arizona based company.
He told me how proud folks there are of Gov. Brewer.
Another plus.....the goods this company supplies are MADE IN THE USA !!
Go, Jan!!!! Go, Arizona!!!!
All the liberal flacks on Twitter yesterday blamed Jan for “disrespecting the office of the Presidency”, and called her “racist” and implied she was crazy. They’re still at it with the “race card” and “disrespect” meme today.
But now Jan’s book is surging to the top of the best seller list, and obama has egg on his face. And take a look at the letter than Jan gave to obama:
This whole incident shows that obama CAN be beaten, and that his liberal sycophants are way off-base as usual.
This makeZ kitty haZ a sad....
BWAHAHAHAH!!!
No, really, REALLY!! Kitty is all depreZZed now...
(snicker, guffaw, short...)
Ok, Kitty haZ a real big smile and is laughing at the inept fool hysterically, but wanted to show the Won proper respect... I asked kitty...but then I remembered it was a VIKING kitty..
Oh hell, BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!
It never ceases to amuse me that conservative books are consistently best-sellers and liberal books consistently flop, given how much smarter liberals are supposed to be! But then, why read an entire book-length argument when you can watch Rachel Madcow insist that all your political opponents are ugly, mean, racist, and stupid in a 30-second sound bite?
My cat loves 0bama posters! She says that they make great litter box liners.
