Candidates Should Learn From Daniels

As Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich continue to throw millions of dollars and hundreds of sarcastic barbs at each other, their constant attempts to prove they are the best at gotcha politics is wearing thin. Of course every primary process includes some of what is politely called "contrasting" (in reality it is highlighting the negative aspects of an opponents record), but getting lost in all the mud slinging and chest thumping is the most important issue in the country today.

In the GOP response to President Barack Obama's State of the Union address last night, Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels clearly articulated how runaway government spending and an unaffordable national debt is the root of our ongoing economic crisis.

Simple Math. Ask yourself why the Republican and Liberal elites are (a) shrieking at the thought of a Newt Gingrich nomination, (b) backed Romney (Republicans saying most electable and Dems saying most feared), and (c) now supporting Mitch Daniels to jump in the race—Krauthammer, Kristol, Gergen Chris Matthews).

They really think the public is stupid. Might be right. Hope there are enough of us that can play a game of checkers.

Bull.

Keep fighting like a bulldog Newt. Give 'em hell !

If we don't have a political brawler to get the marxists, elites, activist judges and media under control in this country we'll wind up in a full blown civil war eventually.

The example Daniels exhibited Newt tried in Iowa. But it seems that Iowans just would rather believe the hits Romney ads were and Newt lost his huge lead. Were the Iowans too simple minded to understand lying garbage or they just didn’t care. Sorry, but Iowans should take a good look at themselves.

Candidates Should Learn From Daniels

How? By having their wives make decisions for them?

Daniels is tough. He is the toughest Republican that Indiana has seen in my lifetime. He got the most comprehensive school choice program in the U.S. through the Democrat-controlled House.

But I think Obama and his boyz would destroy Daniels as a candidate. They would pull no punches to maintain their hold on power. Daniels would just not fight back hard enough, nor would he use Alinsky methods against the Alinskyite, as we know Newt can and will.

Oh Puleeeze!!!! American politics is a full contact sport. This chaos ensues every 4 years then the dust settles and we elect someone. This year’s campaign is no worse than any other year. BHO and Hillary were body slamming each other for a year in the 2008 election before he won and who could forget Bush vs. Gore in 2000. It all works out just like it will this year.

The last thing in the world we need is Mitchie the Stiff Daniels who has all the charisma and appeal of a walnut jumping in the campaign. That is what the GOP establishment is trying to float and thats why Mitch was selected to give the rebuttal.

Newt Gingrich has a vision for America that he articulates beautifully and in a way that the average person can understand. His 21st Century Contract for America is a blueprint for significantly reducing the size and scope of government and reforming taxes and entitlements. All things the GOP establishment is terrified of.
