I can't wait to see what the kittens and mittens will attempt to do then, and they WILL attempt something dastardly and underhandedly. I fear that the RINO establishment will execute a scorched earth policy, where they would destroy the party's chances in the general election rather than risk losing power. Their philosophy may be "Better to reign the GOP under Obama, than serve under Newt".

Could be, that's why I said it would be very interesting. This time though, I think conservatives, tea partiers, grass roots citizen activists in general (which are more active than ever in my lifetime) good republicans, and some independents, have them over a barrel. The GOP is now nothing without them. If they go scorched earth, something more powerful might rise from the ashes, and their cushy gig is up. They won't want that either. Quite the horns of a dilemma for them this time around. My hope is that they will choose wisely and take the horn that recognizes that control by the rino establishment is over, and get on board for what needs done to save our republic, and the GOP becomes a true conservative party.

What d charming edition of this story! I collect early children’s books, and love the artwork on this one. I wish I could find it to add to my collection.
I think I will try to keep the audio turned down on the speech tonight until Herman Cain comes on.
