I too bought a Springfield 1911 a1 in. 45 auto.then I gave it to my daughter.
I have a Kimber but I miss the Springfield.

I bought a Sig 1911 carry Scorpion this past weekend at the local funshow.

Looking forward to taking her to the range her for a test drive.

Unrelated note, spent a few minutes at the show talking with a local PD officer (and fellow gun nut) about our favorite weapons. SO much for the dreaded "gun show loophole"...
