Agreed. Sometimes I wonder why the talking heads (and others) don’t pay attention to the crowd. Santorum got the smallest most pathetic little golf claps. Now, I realize the 2000 or so in the hall are not the entire universe, but there is no reason to think the other half million South Carolinians aren’t responding the same way.

Terry Jeffries, Dick Morris, and “friends of Rush” who all thought Santorum won that last debate — I always wondered what they were smoking. Maybe the voters in SC will prove them right and me wrong today, but I don’t think so. (to Rush’ credit, he was circumspect but never said he agreed with those who thought Santorum won, and he played a bad clip from Santorum, so I don’t know what he really thought) .

Morris only became “relevant” (and I use that loosely) because he was seen as a democratic insider, who turned republican/conservative. I have read a couple of his books. Frankly, I am not impressed with his analysis or predictions. Wish Fox would quit showing him every nite.
