I’m a believer in copyright laws – but – have a box of old reel to reel tapes of music from the 70s. Unfortunately my tape deck no longer works and no one can repair it due to obsolescence. I can’t find any new decks either.
When I’d buy a new album I’d tape it the first time I played it. LPs had a way of getting scratched and warped.

ALL OF THESE COMPANIES (VIACOM, DISNEY, CBS, NBC) DISTRIBUTED THE PIRATING SOFTWARE (THROUGH CNET) THAT THEY LATER SUED PEOPLE FOR USING. THEY HAD LINKS TO PIRATED MP3’S ON THEIR WEBSITES PRACTICALLY BEGGING PEOPLE TO BREAK COPYRIGHT.

THEY SHOULD BE SUED FOR SPREADING PIRACY.
