Yep, though I’d put it as: being off by a few pennies in a checkbook is an “error”. Trespassing on private property, shooting a lawabiding citizen’s dog, and threatening to murder the homeowner are all criminal activities.

The real problem is the militarization of local police.

In America’s past cops were trained to be ‘peace officers’ - they did what they could to keep the peace (keep situations from escalating).

Now they are on some sick power trip to control the ‘civilians’ - not realizing they are civilians too - they aren’t soldiers.

I support sane cops to the hilt. The insane one’s with the ‘us vs them’ are the cause of all the problems.

I blame the training and the whole police state mentality that is overtaking the country.
