From X-spurt:

"Even though they both may have had the required number of voters on the Virginia GOP required petitions, they missed by having some of their workers NOT being registered Virginia voters, a requirement that seems to have been changed less than 30 days before the deadline to submit petitions"...

Now THAT is curious...how was the change made, and why??

I don't really see it as a "fix" for Romney OR Paul, but if that's true, I would be mad as you-know-what if I were a Virginia voter...talk about disenfranchising the electorate!!

I know there is a desiRe to "winnow the field", but we ALL deserve to vote for the candidate of our choice, don't we?? Especially this early? We've only had Iowa and New Hampshire vote so far, and they are far from being truly representative of all the United OTHER States!

The very recent petition changes by RPV has been well doc’d here on FR.

I don’t really care what the Voters in Virginia are willing to put up with its their loss, anything even remotely similar would not be accepted here in Texas.
