McCain Hit Romney On Bain in 2008
Buzzfeed ^ | 1/13/2012 | Staff

John McCain heartedly defended Mitt Romney's private sector record today.

"These attacks on, quote, Bain Capital is really kind of anathema to everything we believe in" said John McCain. "We believe in job creation, and the record of Bain Capital is to take companies that would otherwise fail and restore them to some kind of viability, and sometimes that doesn't work, but you know, when it always works is a thing called communism."

But that's exactly not what McCain was saying in 2008, when the rapaciousness of Bain was part of the end game he and his aides pressed against Romney.

From the Times

"...as head of his investment company he presided over the acquisition of companies that laid off thousands of workers."

... [more attacks from McCain]

So he is implying that being against Bain is somehow communistic. So McCain was a communist in 2008?

Secondly, there is the following article:

Los Angeles Times, "Mitt Romney no stranger to tax breaks, subsides" Those who attack Romney over subsidies, and the corporate welfare this article talks about are attacking what McCain, Romney and others hold dear?

If so, how can they be for free enterprise, true private equity if they hold subsidies and corporate welfare dear? McCain did say the attacks were against evertlything they hold dear.

Finally, was McCain against Bain Capital before he was for it?

McLame hit Bain and Willard for shipping American jobs to China, too.

The real story here is an old one. The story of McCain always seeming to hit rival Republicans a whole lot harder than he ever hit candidate Obama or any other Democrat who opposes him on something.

Surprise surprise, McCain sometimes uses liberal talking points. Who could have guessed it?

I wonder how many media conservatives and GOP politicians were attacking Bain in 2008, and what they said?

I don’t know. I wasn’t supporting either Romney or McCain then.

So, Romney is being supported by someone who use liberal talking points.

What does that say about Romney?

I too, hated both Mclame and Willard the Lib in 2008 as well. I remember Huck hitting Willard about Bain in both IA and SC. And the result was Huck’s combined total of 64% versus Willard’s measly 39% (2008: 25% IA and 14% SC).

“Romney reminds you of the guy who fired you and sent your job to mainland China for two bucks an hour!”

I’m all for a full-throated primary but I wish the candidates were arguing over how fast they would repeal Obamacare and reduce spending. Bain bores me.

Well DUH, people.

In 2008, McCAIN was the “next in line”.

Now, Mitt is the “next in line.

Could you -like- get with the program?

Duncan Hunter went after Romney on Bain over the transfer of US technology transfer to the Chi-Coms....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_bX2hkmE5zA

If Newt and Perry were going to attack Romney’s ties with Bain, they should have attacked Bain’s partnering with ChiComs for the transfer of US defense technology. We’ve seen the results of that transfer with all the cyber attacks the ChiComs have perpetrated all across our defense network.
